The rural roads in Manson are great for biking.  There are terrific views of Lake Chelan, mountains, and orchards and stops along the way to rest or picnic or taste some wine.  

The hills are mostly moderate and not long.  Try to stay on the pavement and out of the grass alongside the road because there are thorns (called "goatheads") that can puncture a tire.  Carry a map so you don't get lost and so you can take side trips or change the route from the description in the next paragraph.  During the summer be sure to carry some water.

The Manson Loop is a route along the rural roads in Manson.  The loop begins in downtown Manson and proceeds west along Wapato Way, then right onto Manson Blvd and up the hill and northwest to Summit Blvd., then north with views of Lake Chelan to Loop Avenue, around the bend on Loop Ave. and then downhill to the left turn onto Manson Blvd. (again) and proceeding east to the right turn onto Wapato Lake Road, then south with Wapato lake on your left and past Roses Lake on your right until the right turn onto Roses Lake Ave. Go west again to the left turn onto Green Avenue and up the hill and then down the hill back into downtown Manson.
