It is excellent for water skiing during the summer and is open for trout fishing during the winter. When it freezes fishermen can venture onto the ice for old-fashioned ice fishing. Dry Lake is a smaller, shallow lake north of Roses Lake. It is quiet and calm and has good bass fishing. Dry Lake is perfect for canoes or other small boats. Wapato Lake is close by Roses Lake to the northwest. It is larger and deeper and is stocked with large trout every year. Trout up to 15" are common. There are also small mouth and large mouth bass. Wapato lake is excellent for water-skiing and wake-boarding and there are two small campgrounds, one at the southeast end and one at the northwest end. Beautiful vacation and full-time homes are being build along the shores of Wapato Lake. Antilon Lake is in the hills north of Wapato Lake. It is a former irrigation reservoir that has camping and fishing during the summer. There are no residences on Antilon Lake and only small boats are permitted. The road around Antilon Lake and further uplake is gravel but suitable for automobiles.
