Manson.

***Quilt Show on Saturday at the Grange Hall. ***Gem & Mineral show at the Grange Hall.
The Apple Blossom Pageant
is
in the Manson
High School
Gym. This event is a formal introduction of the Apple Blossom Royalty to
the Manson Community. Packed with tradition and local entertainment, this
is a great evening of fun for the whole family.
The Street Fair runs two days.
Vendors include exotic beads, hand-crafted items, art work, rugs, candles, jewelry,
sunglasses, birdhouses, minerals & gems, collectibles, BBQ, Oriental food,
coffee vendors, hot dog and hamburger stands, cotton candy, and kettle corn.
COMMUNITY
ART SHOW: NO Charge.
Manson's
Community Art Show will be open on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from noon until 4 pm at
the new Manson Parks and Recreation Building, 142 Pedoi St., right on Manson
Bay. There is no admission.
All artists in the Lake Chelan Valley are invited to participate. Entries will
be limited to one per artist. Entries may be brought to the Manson Parks and
Recreation Building between noon and 4 pm on Friday, May 8. If that is
inconvenient, entries may be brought to Allisons of Manson at 71 Wapato Way
anytime during the week of May 4 - 8. Call Betty Pettit at 687-8003 or Rosanna

CHICKEN NOODLE DINNER.
A world famous
Chicken and Noodle dinner
that has been served at every
Manson Apple Blossom Festival since 1921! Besides
generous portions of Chicken and Noodles, diners will feast on freshly made cole
slaw, fancy green beans, and homemade pies for dessert.
Edible
Apple Contest, at the
Manson
United
Methodist Church, lower level. Results will be announced at the Pageant.
Kiwanis Breakfast
will be held at the Manson Grange Basement—
6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The usual fare of pancakes (regular or huckleberry), eggs, bacon, coffee and
orange juice.
Quilt Show will be at the Grange Hall—main floor—following the
pancake breakfast (about
8 a.m.
